Oh hello there!

Glad you decided to poke around on my website and land on this page!

My name is Susan Yim and I wear many hats —  one is an imaginary pointy elf hat that I wear when I am working as a presentation designer. Why?

As a Senior Presentation Designer at J.P. Morgan I get paid to make stuff look pretty! If you remember your days in school where you had to work on a group project, I was that classmate who wasn’t exactly the brightest apple but had a knack for design and chose beautifying a presentation over all the boring, scholarly research (whoops). Thankfully it paid off and I do that for a living, yay me! But professionally speaking, I design customized templates, icons, infographics for multi-million/billion dollar deals and projects at my firm

Aside from my corporate job, I dabble in a little bit of modeling and create art on the side

ART: I graduated from the University of Washington with a double degree in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Visual Arts. I’ve always differed in thinking from most people growing up, so psychology interested me. I’ve always loved creating art and as an artist, my goal has always been to integrate one’s own interpretation of things and mix those with my artwork. I’ve had my work exhibited in galleries in Seattle and would like to exhibit my work in a NYC gallery one day

MODELING: I unintentionally came into modeling after being scouted for the length/ thickness of my hair (and yes, a stranger did come up to me and touch my beautiful mane without asking, but I didn’t care). That led me to become a hair model in hair shows/conventions to commercial print modeling for 3+ years with the e-commerce company, Zulily. Throughout my years of modeling, I managed to book larger gigs through my modeling agencies: Prestigious Models (Commercial Print), True Model Management (Commercial Print) and Chic Models (Hair)

I appreciate your time to learn more about me and I hope you enjoy roaming through my site! Feel free to reach out and say hi using my contact page. Would love to collaborate
